Senior Legal & Tax Officer Job Description

Job brief

We are now looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Senior Legal & Tax Officer to prepare our tax bills and filings. As Senior Legal & Tax Officer, your primary purpose will be to offer effective tax strategies that adhere to laws and boost our corporation's economic well-being. Filing tax returns, evaluating tax regulations, tracking industry trends, and producing tax reports will be among your duties.

Responsibilities

• Create relevant reports, papers, payments, and tax returns.
• Ensure that you are in compliance with regulations by providing necessary information to national, regional, and local officials.
• Verify that all tax rules, regulations, and practices are followed.
• To aid the Company in the establishment of all new businesses, including the registration of fresh companies and the signing of agreements and contracts.
• Recommend tax-efficient business structures for existing and new businesses.
• Examine tax regulations and propose solutions to reduce the tax burden.
• Maintain an eye on industry trends and taxation policies.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher in law, business administration, or a similar discipline is required
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Working under pressure and meeting organizational deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting applications
• Minimum of 5 years experience in law, tax consulting, or a related job
